Notre Dame, the Basilica plummet

The end of the school year is about to hit me like a load of bricks. As a student, I could always tell when the end of the year was coming. There was the sudden easing of the workload and the glorious prospect of time off.

As a teacher, the end of the year is suddenly packed with all sorts of odd, spare minutes, where if the students don't have their minds completely focused in the classroom they are completely crazy. You try to cram every minute of the day with activities or something, but somehow you still end up with a low scale teenage riot on your hands. Grrrr. Maybe that's what the headaches from.

On to other, possibly, disastrous news. This weekend I head to Roanoke for my first ever, out of college, young group thingee. Single Focus Weekend. A glorified term for Get 'Em Married Off Weekend. It should be interesting. I think that it is really just a good, well, unfortunate excuse to get to Illinois to see the Grandparents, but who knows maybe this will prove to be some great, amazing weekend that I never really expected. You should all come. Well, all you cool single people anyway.

In other disasterous news, Ben I heard the Basilica at Notre Dame lost a spire in the storm. Does that mean God doesn't favor Notre Dame anymore? Are you considering a move to a more favored university? Surely the entire campus was shut down for the day, no? I can only assume from these recent events that God's righteous judgment has been spoken and somehow, for some sacreligious reason, Notre Dame has fallen. Maybe, Ben, you could enlighten us. That might prove to be fun, entertaining, and, possibly, something worth posting. As we all know as perfect little AC's the bottom line is simply "the Catholics are wrong." How can you fight that kind of logic? No, really, how can you?
